Refund Policy

Effective May 9, 2026

1. How cancellation works

You can cancel your Portavi Pro subscription at any time from the billing portal on your account page. Cancelling stops future charges immediately. You keep Pro features through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then your account automatically downgrades to Free, no further action needed.

This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

2. Refunds

Portavi does not issue refunds for partial billing periods. Because access continues through the end of the paid period after cancellation, you always use the time you paid for.

We do make exceptions in three specific situations:

  • Billing errors. If you were charged the wrong amount, double-charged, or charged after cancelling, we'll refund the erroneous amount.
  • Service failures. If a major outage or data-integrity bug made Pro meaningfully unusable for an extended stretch of a billing period, reach out and we'll credit or refund fairly.
  • Unauthorized charges. If someone used your account without permission, cancel the subscription immediately and contact us. We'll work with you + Stripe to resolve it.

To request a refund under one of these exceptions, email support@useportavi.app from the address on your account with the Stripe invoice ID or charge date. We typically respond within 1 business day.

3. Free tier

Every account includes a Free tier with 1 AI Analysis and 10 AI chats per UTC calendar day, refreshing daily, plus unlimited signals, watchlists, and portfolios. No card is required, and nothing is charged until you subscribe. You can try Portavi as long as you like before deciding to upgrade.

4. Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. A chargeback initiates an involved Stripe dispute process that's slower than a direct refund and may result in your account being suspended until the dispute is resolved. In almost every case we can fix the issue faster than the chargeback would.
